Actors Mercy Johnson and Nkem Owoh, widely recognised as Osuofia are set to team up in an upcoming project, much to the delight of their fans.
Mercy shared a video on her Instagram page on Tuesday, featuring herself and Nkem alongside director Frank Arase.
In the clip Frank praised the two stars while they laughed in the background.
“It’s a privilege standing with two iconic and fantastic Nollywood legends,” Frank said, visibly excited.
Pointing towards Mercy, he added, “I’m here with a three-in-one package: wife of a wealthy man, brilliant actress, and my occasional briber.”
Shifting his attention to Nkem he continued, “And here we have our daddy, Nollywood’s finest—humble, principled, and a true legend.”
Osuofia in turn praised the director.
Encouraging her followers to stay tuned, Mercy hinted that the upcoming movie is one to look forward to.
Fans were quick to flood the comment section with their excitement.
A user Sissy Toon-Nettles wrote, “Yes, I so love both of them. Continue to be great y’all!”
Another fan Feggie shared, “Seeing Ukwa alone brings me so much joy.”
Adeline Zoe echoed the enthusiasm, commenting, “Love this because I’m indeed a fan of the both of them.”
