Mama Olukoya, as she was fondly called, was a fervent worshipper at the MFM International Headquarters, Onike-Yaba, Lagos, and a member of the Elders Group.
President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the MFM founder on the passing of his mother.
A statement on Wednesday by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said the President joined all worshippers at MFM in mourning Mama Olukoya.
The President says he believes Mama Janet loved God and lived according to His precepts, which was clearly seen in the way she raised her children, urging all family members to find solace in her devoutness and service to humanity.

“President Buhari prays that Mama Janet’s soul will find rest in the Lord,” the statement said.
She is survived by the MFM founder and Funmilayo Olowoake, also a member of MFM, grandchildren and other family members.
