Chairman of Globacom Mike Adenuga has bought 10 copies of a book written by former governor of Ogun State Segun Osoba for N100 million.
Adenuga was represented at the launch of the book My Life in the Public Eye on Saturday at Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, by his daughters Oyindamola and Bella Disu.
The book launch was also used to celebrate Osoba’s 85th birthday.
Mrs Disu, the executive vice-chairman of Globacom, delivered a message at the launch and drew applause when she announced the N100 million purchase of 10 copies.
Among the attendees were former President Olusegun Obasanjo, businessman Kessington Adebutu; Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun; former secretary general of the Commonwealth, Emeka Anyaoku; Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote; media entrepreneur Dele Momodu; minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Wale Edun; and former executive director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Segun Awomolo.
