Executive vice chairman of Globacom Bella Disu has expressed her thoughts on the maiden edition of SheGlows Summit.
Mrs Disu created the summit to mentor and support the women in the company’s workforce.
Ibiyinka Ibru, Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani, and Vida Echetabu were speakers at the event themed “Empowered to Lead: Navigating Finance and Leadership for Success.” Arise News broadcaster Ayo Mairo-Ese anchored the event on Tuesday.
Sharing photos on social media on Wednesday night, Mrs Disu said she was filled with immense gratitude and pride, noting that the knowledge and wisdom shared have the power to transform their careers and personal lives.
To the speakers, she wrote, “Thank you for inspiring and teaching us. From overcoming the fear of investing to leadership development and striving for excellence, you’ve left a lasting impact on every woman in that room.”
Disu, daughter of Globacom founder Mike Adenuga, also gave a “special thank you” to Mrs Mairo-Ese “for guiding the event with grace and energy.”
“This summit was born from a desire to build, mentor, and support the amazing women of the @globacomlimited family. And this is just the beginning—there’s so much more to come. My greatest joy is seeing our workforce grow stronger and better in the community we are building together,” she added.
