Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, has saluted his Chelsea teammates for picking up another impressive victory in the Premier League at the weekend.
Goals from Pedro and Victor Moses ensured the Blues maintained their seven-game winning run with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham while sustaining their lead at the summit of the log.
Despite not making any appearance for Antonio Conte’s team this season, Mikel was still proud of the club’s display against Spurs.
The 29-year-old who is almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge in January had special praise for England defender, Gary Cahill, who made his 200th start for the Blues in the encounter.
Mikel posted a picture on Twitter of himself and the former Bolton defender who these days wears the captain armband in the absence of John Terry.
Another big three points at the weekend, and well done to my friend @GaryJCahill on starting 200 games for #CFC #KTBFFH ?⚪️ pic.twitter.com/yv7DGtUlA1
