Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, has hailed the impact of his compatriots at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Australia.
Team Nigeria has amassed four gold, five silver and two bronze medals at the games.
All four gold medals came from powerlifting.
The heavyweight sport also produced two silver medals, with one apiece coming from men’s shotput and table tennis, wrestling.
There were additional two bronze medals from wrestling.
Mikel, 30, himself an Olympic bronze medalist in the football event in Rio, was quick to applaud his countrymen and women for such feat.
