Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, has remained silent after his long-term teammate, John Terry, left Chelsea for Aston Villa.
Mikel and Terry played together at Stamford Bridge for about 11 years before the Nigerian joined Chinese side, Tianjin TEDA, in January.
The pair were believed to be very close friends outside the pitch of play with the ex-England skipper among the first to wish the 30-year-old well as he headed to the Asian nation.
In Terry’s word, Mikel is “Legend” who he was going to miss “both on and off the pitch” with “so many great memories together”.
But surprisingly, the Nigerian has seemingly refused to return the favour after Terry’s move to Villa was confirmed on Monday morning.
Terry joins Steve Bruce’s team on a one-year contract, finally putting an end to his illustrious time in west London.
The Super Eagles skipper is currently recuperating from an injury which has limited his playing time with TEDA.
