Super Eagles skipper, Mikel Obi, has pulled out of Tuesday’s international friendly with Serbia.
Mikel, 30, missed last week’s 1-0 win over Poland and it appears the Tianjin TEDA star hasn’t sorted his work permit issues.
The midfielder is gutted to miss the clash but is confident Gernot Rohr’s men will deliver.
“Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be on the field for our game v Serbia tomorrow, ” Mikel wrote on Twitter.
“I am sad, and frustrated, but giving my full support to the team for another win.”

In Mikel’s absence, Ogenyi Onazi will most likely skipper the side.
Nigeria will hope to continue their fine streak against the Europeans at Hive, Barnet FC.
