Former captain of the Super Eagles Mikel Obi has gone under the knife at Princess Grace Hospital in the United Kingdom.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder disclosed this with photos shared on Instagram Story on Saturday.
Sharing a picture he took before the operation, he wrote, “Pre-op, let’s go.”
Another picture of him lying on the bed at the hospital post-surgery was captioned, “All good, #PostOp.”
The 37-year-old did not reveal the reason for his surgery.
Obi also shared a video of his daughters wishing him luck on his surgery.
In April 2017, the retired footballer was reported to have undergone a surgery in the UK.
