Exactly eight years ago on Wednesday, Chelsea clinched only its third Premier League title.
Carlo Ancelotti brought back the prestigious trophy to Stamford Bridge after three seasons away.
Mikel Obi was an influential member of that squad, featuring 32 times.
It was the first of two top-flight honours for the Nigerian and one of his 13 major accolades.
As such, Mikel still has fond memories of that day even almost two years since departing England.
He took to Twitter to recall that unforgettable day.
My first @premierleague trophy, on this day in 2010! Who remembers the score that day…? 💙 pic.twitter.com/wWY39ggCO5

Mikel is now on the books of Chinese side Tianjin TEDA.
He will be expected to lead his country to a respectable finish at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
