Mikel Obi is hoping for another great outing for the Super Eagles when they take on Serbia on Tuesday.
Skipper, Mikel, will miss the second successive game when the Nigerians clash with their European counterparts in London.
The 30-year-old held back in China due to work permit hitches believes the team will take another bold step towards the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
He once again took to Twitter to share his thoughts about Gernot Rohr’s side.
I’m excited to see how far we can go as a team this year. Tonight is another step on that journey. I’m with you tonight. #soarsupereagles 🇳🇬 pic.twitter.com/E0G2JyWPWs

In the absence of Mikel, Ogenyi Onazi will captain the team while Joel Obi will slot into his midfield role.
