Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan, has agreed a deal to switch from the Italian capital to Chelsea this summer, according to multiple reports.
Nainggolan, 27, has been touted as one of the primary targets of incoming Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, who is set to replace Guus Hiddink after Euro 2016.
After lengthy discussions with Roma, the player and his representatives, the London-based club have finally agreed a £28 million deal.
The Belgium international is keen on the switch and has verbally signed a five-year deal, with Roma’s blessing.
He will become Chelsea’s first summer signing, and Conte believes the midfield powerhouse is tailor-made for the Premier League, and his arrival may signal the end of the road for John Obi Mikel at Stamford Bridge.
An official announcement is set to be made at the end of the season confirming the impending transfer.
