Nollywood actress, Mimi Orijiekwe, posed in a black sports bra and matching black shorts as she shared her weight loss journey with her Instagram followers.
The 32-year-old mother-of-one shared the picture on Thursday.
“Been on this Weightloss vibes.. dieting and exercising..not yet where I wana be buh .. I ve been able to lose almost 13kg (28 pounds) since mid-April. Focusing on tummy and glute exercises now!…,” she wrote.
On May 10, Mimi told the Punch Newspapers that she makes a conscious effort to eat healthily and is particularly concerned about vegetable oil due to its effect on the heart.
“I am very conscious of that. I am trying to make living a healthy lifestyle a habit. This is because I have been doing a study on heart health.
“I realised that lots of people are sick and I also found out that about 40 percent of people die yearly because of cardiovascular diseases. All the heart attacks is because of wrong feeding. Personally, I don’t take vegetable oil because it has saturated fat and that is the fat that causes plague to build up in the arteries thereby blocking them and preventing them from pumping blood which leads to death…,” she said.
