Pop star, Wizkid, has expressed deep regret for missing the white wedding of his mentor, Banky W, in Cape Town, South Africa on Saturday.
He blamed his absence on the non-release of his passport.
The 27-year-old had missed the traditional wedding of Banky and Adesua Etomi in Lagos last week.
Expressing his sadness at missing the event, the three-time father promised “we go rock church wedding” which took place in South Africa.
His absence at the last leg of what has been tagged #BAAD2017 did not go unnoticed by fans, some of who brutally attacked him on social media.
“God will bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad, But this is not about me, its abt you! Enjoy! Happiness and love forever” he wrote along with a picture of the couple.
He then added the hashtag that he was still waiting for his passport.
