Actress Mo Bimpe has fired back at a TikTok user who insinuated that her husband and fellow actor Lateef Adedimeji would soon take a second wife because she is yet to get pregnant.
The 28-year-old had shared a post on the platform when a user dropped the comment: “Pregnant you no get. No worry, your husband go soon marry another wife.”
Responding to the jab, Mo Bimpe shared a video with a mocking song along with a message which read, “If someone has not been treated as a scapegoat, you guys won’t rest yeah.”
Mo Bimpe, born Adebimpe Oyebade, got married to Lateef Adedimeji in December 2021 in a well-publicised ceremony attended by several Nollywood stars.
Lateef has previously spoken up about the pressure his wife faces from the public over her inability to conceive.
In a 2024 interview, the actor revealed that people constantly troll Mo Bimpe online, accusing her of being barren and predicting that he would leave her or marry another woman.
He described the criticism as unfair and urged fans to be more sensitive, noting that childbirth is a personal and often delicate journey.
