Actress Juliana Olayode has addressed those mocking her senior colleague Genevieve Nnaji over rumours of the latter’s mental breakdown.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Juliana said that the urge to mock famous people for going through normal challenges and different phase of life is disgusting.
The former Jenifa Diary actress pointed out that no one is perfect and people should be allowed to be themselves. Speaking further, the actress popularly known as Toyo Baby said that she loved Genevieve from the very first time she saw her on television and has never stopped loving her since then.
Sharing a screenshot of the video Genevieve posted earlier on Instagram, She wrote: “The urge to mock famous people for going through normal challenges and different phase of life is so disgusting, its unbelievable…I don’t understand it. We all have our moments, we are all struggling, we are all hiding something. None of us are perfect, can we just allow people to be and breathe?
“I loved you from the very first time I saw you on my TV screens, and I have never stopped loving you ever since. Genevieve Nnaji you’re so special…So so so special.”
Fans began expressing worry over Genevieve when she went completely silent on her 43rd birthday on May 3.
The actress did not post anything on social media to celebrate neither did she respond to goodwill messages by fans and colleagues.
A week after, exactly on May 10, the actress deleted all her Instagram photos and videos, months after she unfollowed everybody on the social media platform.
QED.NG reported that Genevieve caused a stir on March 12 when she labelled mental health a spiritual condition.
Speaking in a message posted on social media, the actress said, “Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicate your life to the God that you serve. Get rebaptized.
