Media personality, Moet Abebe, has revealed that she is a survivor of abuse and promised to share her story in the future.
The 30-year-old made the promise on Friday when she added her voice to the fight against sexual and physical abuse against women, though it was not clear from her post whether she had experienced sexual or physical abuse.
She wrote, “No tolerance!!! With females coming out to tell their own sexual abuse and assault stories… I gather strength from their courage and their need to heal by sharing their stories… I too am a survivor and I will one day share my story…”
The United Kingdom-born radio presenter whose real name is Laura Abebe, joins other celebrities who have joined the campaign to end sexual and physical violence against women.
They include Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Falz among others.
