Actor Mofe Duncan has fired back at a social media troll who made a comment about his body.
On Monday, Mofe shared a behind-the-scenes video of himself working on set on Instagram when a follower took to the comment section to body-shame him.
The troll wrote: “Uncle Mofe, waist trainer or exercise, choose wisely.”
Mofe responded sharply, offering the troll an alternative choice.
“A BRAIN or 4TB HDD… choose wisely,” he wrote.
Shortly after, the actor doubled down with another post, addressing the situation. He shared a quote that read:
“In life, distractions come before your test so that you’d lose focus and score low. Focus on the test, identify the distractions.”
In his caption, he reflected on the timing of the criticism.
“Morning after I pipelined my first FEATURE FILM on home soil, the devil tried to stain my white, by using an individual to express his opinion about how I look, instead… God used him to AMPLIFY MY WORK.”
Mofe Duncan has previously spoken about being body-shamed, not just by fans but also within the movie industry.
In a past interview, he revealed that some Nollywood producers had refused to cast him in roles due to his weight.
