A former presidential candidate and ex-deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Kingsley Moghalu and the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Catriona Laing have indicated interest in getting a copy of a new book by former minister of finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
The duo made up part of the first persons who said they would be getting a copy after Mrs Okonjo-Iweala announced the release of the book Women and Leadership: Real Lives, Real Lessons in a Twitter post on Thursday.
The book is co-authored by former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
Announcing his intention, Mr Moghalu wrote: “Congrats to my dear sister @NOIweala! Ordering my copy straightaway!”
Ms Laing wrote: “I will be ordering this book written by two of my favourite female leaders and role models. @NOIweala @JuliaGillard.”
The book uses the likes of former US Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, former British Prime Minister Theresa May and Africa’s first female head of state Ellen Johnson Sirleaf among others to drive home its point.
