Former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Kingsley Moghalu on Saturday morning paid a visit to his former boss Muhammadu Sanusi II in Lagos.
Moghalu shared photos of himself on X with Sanusi at the latter’s residence.
“Always a pleasure to have high quality time and conversations with my friend and former boss, the brilliant Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, 14th Emir of Kano and former @cenbank Governor,” he wrote.
“At morning tea in his residence in Lagos this morning.”

Sanusi was governor of the CBN from 2009 to 2014, ushering in banking reforms until his suspension and eventual replacement after he brought to light the alleged $20 billion oil scandal.
Since leaving the CBN, Sanusi has been crowned emir of Kano and now Khalifa of the Tijaniyyah Sufi order of Nigeria.
