Former presidential candidate, Kingsley Moghalu, has visited the home of late statesman, Obafemi Awolowo, at Ikenne, Ogun State.
Mr Moghalu met Ambassador Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu, daughter of the former Western Region premier, during the visit on Wednesday.
The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said on Twitter on Thursday that Mrs Awolowo-Dosunmu was doing great work as head of the foundation set up in her father’s name.
“I visited and caught up with my senior sister and friend Dr. Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu in Ikenne, Ogun State yesterday at Pa Awo’s country home. As Executive Director of the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation and the H.I.D. Awolowo Foundation she is doing great work in nation-building,” he said.
Exactly a week ago, the home of the late statesman played host to the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi.
