Former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Kingsley Moghalu and wife Maryanne have revealed they were stuck in an elevator outside the country.
Tweeting on Monday evening, Nigerian time, Mrs Moghalu said they were stuck for over 30 minutes.
She shared photos and videos of officials working to rescue them after the elevator stopped midway.
Mrs Moghalu expressed gratitude to God, advising her followers not to leave home without praying.
“This morning, @MoghaluKingsley and I were stuck in an elevator for over 30 minutes! The elevator stopped in between floors. I thank God it ended well. This is why you don’t leave home without praying. Ps 91. Never know what is waiting around the corner. Glory to God!” she wrote.
Moghalu retweeted the post on his own page.

On August 1, an elevator accident killed a doctor Vwaere Diaso at the General Hospital in Odan, Lagos Island.
Ms Diaso had about two weeks to complete her housemanship at the hospital.
The incident generated outrage among the public as the elevator was said to have been faulty for some time.
