Suspected internet fraudster Ismaila Mustapha alias Mompha attended a secret party for crossdresser Bobrisky’s 29th birthday.
Mompha who only recently regained freedom from police detention appeared in a video on Tuesday, September 1, hours after the party held in Lagos on Monday night.
Mompha is seen in the video spraying cash at Bobrisky who dances excitedly.
Bobrisky born Idris Okuneye held an unannounced party this time after his 28th birthday in Lekki area of Lagos last year was ruined by the police.
The police had accused him of planning to initiate people into homosexuality. Bobrisky said his botched party cost him N19 million.
The crossdresser on Tuesday also released a video he shot in preparation for his 29th birthday with Niniola’s ‘Addicted’ as the theme song.
He had on Monday dropped flawless pictures of himself on Instagram dressed as an angel, receiving congratulatory messages from best friend Tonto Dikeh, celebrity publisher Dele Momodu, actress Anita Joseph among others.
The Lagos-born socialite had also announced he got himself an early birthday gift, a Mercedes Benz SUV.
Meanwhile, Bobrisky and Mompha are publicly known to be good friends.
Bobrisky was among those who stood solidly behind Mompha when the Instagram celebrity was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in October 2019 on allegations of money laundering and internet fraud.
In June, Bobrisky revealed while celebrating Mompha’s birthday that the latter helps him out with money, time and advice.
“Still celebrating my boo on his birthday Mompha thanks for supporting me with everything.. money, time and ur advice…,” he wrote on Instagram.
Mompha is facing money laundering charges before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
