Broadcaster Morayo Afolabi-Brown on Thursday evening invited neighbours to her house to give thanks to God over her appointment as the managing director of TVCe, the entertainment channel of TVC Communications.
Mrs Afolabi-Brown was the deputy director of programmes at TVC News. Until her latest appointment, she has been co-hosting TVC’s breakfast show Your View.
Responding to those asking how she was celebrating her new position, she wrote in an Instagram post, “…We invited our immediate neighbors and served some hot praise to the Almighty God. In all things, we give thanks.”
In the video posted, the journalist’s husband is seen with a microphone leading everyone in praise and worship.
Afolabi-Brown noted that she was grateful for the good wishes.

Meanwhile, Afolabi-Brown’s co-hosts on Your View Obiajulu Ugboh and Tope Mark-Odigie have congratulated her on Instagram.
Mrs Mark-Odigie wrote, “Congratulations 👏 on a well-deserved appointment 👏. Yours is a testimony of God’s favour on a very hard-working selfless leader. We thank God for your life.”
Mrs Ugboh wrote, “When I joined Your View on TVC, I experienced you as a boss and you were an amazing one! Never hung a shoulder or lorded it over anyone! Your humility always shone through!
