Nigeria midfielder, Victor Moses, says he feels at home at Chelsea having emerged as a key player under Antonio Conte this season.
Moses did not make a league appearance for the Blues in more than three years prior to the Italian’s appointment, but the 25-year-old has now started seven successive top-flight games for the Blues, all of which have ended in victory.
The former Wigan man highlighted his resurgence once again with the winning goal in Saturday’s London derby against Tottenham Hotspur and revealed after the game that he is enjoying life under his new gaffer.
“I am very pleased with the goal but the most important thing is the three points. There’s nothing we could do about the Spurs goal. Fortunately, Pedro got us back in the game,” the Nigerian reported to be scouted by Barcelona told reporters.
“I feel like I have found a home here. It’s my club. I’m pleased the manager has given me a chance to express myself. I just want to keep playing my football and we are very happy with win today.”
For the second successive game, Moses was named man of the match for his brilliant performance while the goal was his fourth of the season.
The win over Tottenham see Chelsea move back top of the log – one point clear of Liverpool and Manchester City.
