Super Eagles star, Moses Simon, continued from where he left off last week with two goals in Gent’s 3-0 victory over Eupen.
Moses, who opened his goal account against Kortrijk, made it three from two with two beautiful strikes on Tuesday.
Yuya Kubo struck first for the hosts as early as in the third minute before the Nigerian single-handedly took Eupen to the cleaners.
Both goals came through the spot.
The first was around six minutes past the half hour mark with the second just two minutes apart.
The victory takes Gent to 13 points from 12 games played thus far in the Belgian Jupiter League.
Also in action for the home team were two other Nigerians: Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu.
Moses has now found the net 15 times since he moved to Belgium from AS Trescin in 2015.
For the Super Eagles, he has become a mainstay, netting four times in 17 appearances.
