Mother of Jamiu Asuku, chief of staff of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, has been abducted.
Reports say some gunmen invaded her residence in Adavi Local Government Area of the state and took her away.
A resident of Inese/Ovakere New Layout in Nagazi community, where Asuku’s mother, Seriya Raji, lives told The Nation that the gunmen stormed her residence at around 7.40pm on Monday, shortly after she attended the Muslim evening prayer in a mosque near her house.
The source said the gunmen were six in number, holding Ghana Must Go bags.
