Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho, has revealed that the club will not go into any form of panic buys in the winter in a bid to resurrect their crumbling season.
The current Champions, who sit 16th in the Premier League,11 points off Manchester United in fourth, have already suffered seven defeats in 12 games this season.
There have been rumours of discontent in the Stamford Bridge dressing room and Mourinho has had numerous run-ins with the FA.
But the Special One is confident that his side has enough quality to qualify for the Champions League without making any signings in January.
“I am happy with my players,” Mourinho said at his Friday press conference.
“I trust the players. I don’t need to clean the dressing room. And I don’t need to ask the club to spend money in January.”
The Blues face Norwich at Stamford Bridge this weekend and Mourinho is expecting his men to repay the backing shown by the club’s supporters.
“I think we are going to play well, I think we’re going to get a good result. Stamford Bridge has been very good for us. It’s one more reason to try to give Stamford Bridge what they want.”
