Nigerian filmmaker and former vice president of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Frank Vaughan has died.
The movie director who hailed from Delta State, was said to have died in Warri on Tuesday after a protracted battle with illness.
His younger brother, Philip Okpokoro, a cinematographer and series director of Nigerian Idols reality TV show, confirmed the sad news to the media.
Vaughan played a crucial role in shaping the Nigerian movie industry and mentoring aspiring filmmakers.
He was a TV producer/director and also a current affairs and political analyst.
Vaughan whose full name was Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan was also a pastor with Dominion City Church, Asaba, Delta State.
