Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, has spoken on filmmaker, Amaka Igwe’s help in her career growth.
The curvy figure shared a short story and also told her fans a fun fact about herself on Instagram on Tuesday.
She also paid her tributes to the late filmmaker.
“Fun fact about me ….. I can not fake anything to save my life . Unfortunately what I feel is what I show ( terribly undiplomatic I know ) especially in my industry but hey what can a gal do . However I am a very easy going person so I am very tolerant to a lot of bs 🙄nevertheless.
“Also with Anti Amaka Igwe (May her soul continue to Rest In Peace ) and getting to the final round of auditions , then she telling me to just use my face to tell her how I am feeling,” she wrote.
Moyo stars in several movies including A Toast To Heartbreak, Mistresses, Parents’ Guard and Judas Game.
She also stars in various TV series including Binta and Friends, Edge of Paradise, Super Story and Tinsel.
Igwe was a prominent figure in the industry until her death in 2014.
She hit national limelight as the writer and producer of award-winning TV soap Checkmate and its offshoot Fuji House of Commotion.
Her Nollywood projects include Rattle Snake and Violated which set her studios apart in the video film era of Nigerian cinema.
