Starboy Worldwide singer, Mr Eazi, has apologised to Nigerian fans over his statement that the country’s sound is influenced by Ghanaian music.
While his statement is not incorrect, the backlash from Nigerians and the unforgiving messages that kept coming on social media forced The Headies 2016 Next Rated Act to beg for forgiveness.

This comes after an earlier tweet asking God to bless Nigeria did not have the desired effect.

Born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade in Port Harcourt, Mr Eazi is based in Ghana and has collaborated with many artistes from the West African country.
He is a native of Imeko in Ogun State.
