Singer Mr Eazi has bought a Range Rover as a Christmas gift for himself.
The 29-year-old shared pictures of his new black whip on his Instastories.
“Gave myself a Christmas gift,” he wrote on Tuesday.
In another story he said, “This one is for #DettyDecember Parolz.”
Born Oluwatosin Ajibade, Mr Eazi in 2019 told Punch that he did not own a car.
“I use Uber but I do not care and by the way, I don’t even pay for the ride because I was given Uber credit. But if you see me in the Uber vehicle and feel that Mr Eazi is poor, what is my business (with that)? For instance, everybody around me has cars, and besides, I buy cars for people. If it makes sense for me to use an Uber, why should I drive? Why would I pay about N100m for a car that I would probably drive just five times a year?” he said.
Speaking with Joy FM on-air personality George Quaye in Janurary, the singer said he still had not purchased a car.
“No, I still don’t have a car. This is because all year round I’m not stationed in one place. Today, I’m in this country playing shows, tomorrow, I’m somewhere else. It doesn’t make any sense for me to buy a car and just pack it, and so no, I still don’t have a car,” he said.
