Veteran actor Mr Ibu’s Instagram account has been hacked.
The movie star who is currently admitted to Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre in Abuja following an undisclosed illness brought this to the attention of the public in a video posted on Instagram on Friday.
Ibu’s wife Stella Maris also confirmed that her husband’s Instagram page has been hacked.
“His Instagram account has been hacked anybody using that account to collect money please stop it. It’s not good,” she said.
While warning fans against internet fraudsters, the woman also asked for prayers from fans.
“Please my people pray for my husband @realmribu, his currently in the hospital now but God is the greatest in everything, He no longer has access to @realmribu, the account was hacked, you can reach him on realmribu1 on tiktok,” she wrote.
Mr Ibu also stated that he is not asking anyone for financial assistance but those who wish to donate for his treatment are welcome to do so.
