Stella Maris, wife of the late actor John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu has shared a throwback video of the actor and their son Jeff, expressing her belief that Jeff has inherited his father’s comedic talents.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Stella captioned the video, “TBT the day Jeff received the mantle from his dad 🙏.”
The clip featured Mr Ibu and a younger Jeff engaging in a humorous father-son conversation, with the late actor advising his son not to let anyone bring him down.
Stella’s post has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with fans urging Nollywood to nurture Jeff’s budding talent early.
Earlier in the week, Stella had posted another video of Jeff performing a hilarious dance, wearing a wig and with white powder on his face.
Many commenters said his antics reminded them of Mr Ibu’s iconic comedic style.
Mr Ibu, known for his roles in Nollywood comedies passed away on March 2 after a long battle with illness which tragically led to the amputation of his leg.
He was 62 years old.
