President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has debunked false reports saying Baba Suwe is dead.
Multiple sources are reporting that the comic actor born Babatunde Omidina, has died.
Mr Latin denied this via a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Baba suwe is not DEAD…Thank you all for.your concern,” he wrote.
Baba Suwe travelled overseas for his medical treatment on Saturday, April 20.
The development was announced by actor, Yomi Fabiyi, in an Instagram post on Sunday.
He revealed that the actor was accompanied by his son, Sola Omidina.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) with the assistance of the Federal Ministry of Health has been at the forefront of efforts made in respect to Baba Suwe’s poor health.
