Comedian-actor Mr Macaroni and singer Falz on Thursday, led a procession at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos to mark the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
Falz who live-streamed the peaceful walk posted the video on Instagram. In the video, Nigerian youths are seen chanting the words “EndSARS, EndSARS, solidarity forever.”
Falz could also be heard saying, “we no wan cause trouble today, Na our people wey dem kill October 20, 2020 we come here come remember. Government dey try deny say e happen but we remember.”
On his part, Mr Macaroni led another set of youths, marching and singing a solidarity songs in honour of the EndSARS victims.
Armed uniformed men could also be seen in the video, watching as the youths commemorated the anniversary.
As the video live-streamed, well-meaning Nigerians wrote words of encouragement to the protesters, others prayed for the victims of the protest.
