Actor and skit maker Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has announced his participation in this year’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
On Wednesday, he took to his Instagram page to share pictures of himself dressed in a blue dansiki, revealing his trip to the US for the project.
In his caption, Mr. Macaroni expressed his excitement, saying: “I am very delighted to participate in this year’s International Visitor Leadership Program. I’ll be in Washington DC, Miami, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles for this project.
“This is an Advocacy through Social Media Project, and I am elated about the opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate on common challenges with emerging leaders from various places in the world who use their platforms to create a positive impact in society.”
The International Visitor Leadership Program, launched in 1940, aims to strengthen US engagement with countries around the world.
It cultivates lasting relationships by connecting current and emerging foreign leaders with their American counterparts through short-term visits to the United States.
