Comedian turned actor Debo Adedayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni has celebrated his 29th birthday with lovely photos.
The skit maker posted photos of himself rocking a brown agbada on Instagram on Tuesday, May 3, saying he was thankful for adding another year.
He said: “It’s my birthday and I’m so thankful.”
Celebrities like Dakore Egbuson, Mercy Aigbe, Mo Bimpe, Bimo Ademoye, Tobi Bakare, Kemi Korede, Halima Abubakar, Tony Umez, Boma, Yomi Casual and others wished him a happy birthday in the comment section of the post.
The actor’s on-screen wife Kemi Ikuseedun popularly known as Mummy Wa also penned down a lovely message to Mr Macaroni known for his role as Daddy Wa in his skits.
Mummy Wa said Mr Macaroni is a very important figure in her life and she does not know what she would have done without him.
She noted that he has always been there for her and she will always be grateful for his support.
She wrote: “Happy Birthday DaddyWa @mrmacaroni1You have always been there. To support me in everything That I do, and for that reason Alone I will always be grateful. You are so very important to me and you’re such a significant part of my life. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Mr Macroni set tongues wagging on social media on April 23 after he announced his ‘engagement’ to Mummy Wa.
Photos of the duo rocking marching outfits circulated the internet. Mr Macaroni also released another photo of the ‘couple’ which he captioned: “Beautiful wedding pictures.”
Fellow comedian Adebayo Ridwan, better known as Isbae U, who is believed to be Mummy Wa’s boyfriend, also joined in stirring the controversy when he registered his shock at the news of the engagement.
This left fans confused as to whether Mr Macaroni actually got married to Mummy Wa or if it was a photo shoot for a skit or an advert.
However, according to TheCable Lifestyle, an insider in Mr Macaroni’s team said the two skit makers did not get married as widely reported.
The source also said the wedding pictures were for a promotional campaign and not a skit.
