Comedian Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni has received the outstanding Ibadan youth award at the recently held inauguration of the newly elected executives of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes.
The 28-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.
“Honored to have received the CCII Award for outstanding youth at the inauguration of the newly elected executives of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes,” he wrote.
Fellow celebrities and fans congratulated Mr Macaroni in the comment section of the post.
The comedian who is also an activist portrays the character of the modern-day Nigerian politician in his skits.
He was among those arrested during the #OccupyLekki protest back in February and has continued to speak on the inadequacies of the government.
