Social media comedian Mr Macaroni led a protest at the Lagos State Government House in Alausa late into Thursday night against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Addressing government officials, he said that the government works for the people and if the people want a job done, the government must do it without delay.
Tweeting on Thursday night, Mr Macaroni said: “Just heard that another youth got shot in Delta. We are not leaving Alausa tonight!! We are sleeping in front of the Government House. Someone must take responsibility! #AlutaContinua #EndSars.”
A policeman was shot dead in Delta by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS protest.
At 4am on Friday, he also tweeted: “Are you there??? It’s 4:00am!!! We are still here! We deserve better!!! #EndSARS #ALutaContinua.”
Mr Macaroni born Debo Adebayo was among a number of celebrities who took to the streets on Thursday for the anti-SARS protest in several parts of Lagos.
The protesters want the government to scrap the squad completely as against the government’s plan to reform it.
