Former senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has shared a picture of himself meeting with Afro-pop singer, Burna Boy, and his mother, Bose Ogulu.
Mr Murray-Bruce posted pictures of the meeting in Los Angeles, United States late Sunday.
The former federal lawmaker met with Burna Boy and his mother hours before the singer was announced winner of best International Act at the BET awards.
“With Burna Boy in Los Angeles,” Murray-Bruce tweeted.
Mrs Ogulu got attention at the BET awards with her acceptance speech.
Burna Boy, 27, was not in the hall to receive his award prompting his mother to receive it on his behalf.
“You were Africans before you were anything else,” Ogulu said while receiving the award as she admonished the audience.
