Plantain Boy crooner makes no pretension about the fact that his life would have turned out very differently if not for music.
The singer uploaded a picture on Instagram which says, ‘I will always love you,’ and he added the caption, ‘Music I love (you) so much. Thanks for saving my life.’
Timaya, whose father used to be a banker, has often sang of his family’s travails after his father lost his plum bank job. According to him, he went through a lot of hardship, and even had to sell plantain at a point, but music changed his story for good as it gave him fame and fortune.
