Yoruba movie actor, Muyiwa Ademola, clocked 46 on Thursday and he is holding a birthday celebration in Houston, Texas.
The man popularly known as Mr. Authentic was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State to the family of Isaiah Awofe Ademola and Ruth Ademola.
Muyiwa attended St. David’s High School in Molete, Ibadan where he obtained the West Africa Secondary School Certificate and later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he obtained a degree in adult education.
The Asise star joined Nollywood through Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako, who was based in his hometown, Abeokuta
He has produced, direct and featured in several Yoruba movies and was nominated as most outstanding indigenous actor for the 2008 Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA).
On January 2013, it was reported that he had a fatal accident that almost resulted in his death.
He recently revealed that an America based Nigerian pastor, Tope Onileowo, of the Rock of Prayer Christian Centre in Houston presented him with a with a brand new car after seeing his movie, Ori.
To celebrate the birthday, Muyiwa will be celebrating at Top of Flight Restaurant in Houston today.
“Let’s have plenty fun together,” he wrote in an Instagram post earlier in the week.
