Lanre Gentry, the ex-husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, has cleared the air on the paternity of his son Juwon saying that all his children share the same family birthmark.
The rumour that Gentry might not be Juwon’s father became serious after Mercy Aigbe’s husband Kazim Adeoti’s first wife Funsho Asiwaju claimed the actress had been having sexual relations with Kazim while married to Gentry.
Clearing the air in an interview with Punch published on Sunday, Lanre who recently welcomed his first child with his new wife said the baby looks like Juwon and they share a family birthmark which proves he is the boy’s biological father.
Gentry said, “I said I was going to get married last year and I did. We did our traditional and court wedding on September 11, 2021. We now have a baby girl and she looks very much like Olajuwon, whom some have claimed may not be my biological son. A man who was sneaking to have sexual intercourse with another man’s wife cannot have the guts to request for a DNA test. Children born in my family have a certain birthmark, and Juwon and my daughter have it.”
