Nollywood Omoni Oboli has said that her colleagues criticised her for being over-ambitious.
The actress said this in a podcast with veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo shared on Instagram on Tuesaday.
“People tell you you are over ambitions, you know there was a time that someone started a narrative about me that I was over-ambitious and it was a negative narrative.
“You know, and I started to take it in, I start to dump down myself, I started to feel like ‘okay I don’t want them to see my like I’m over-ambitious I don’t want them to see me that way, now I have realised that it’s actually a good thing,” she said.
The actress recently said that she was sent to break generational curses rescue her family from poverty.
“I am Gucci, that’s the truth, I am okay but I hustle like I am still broke. I want to be wealthy, I want to have generational wealth. I say to myself I am the curse breaker in my family, I was sent to break generational curses.
“In every family, there is that one person that broke the chain, there is that one person that the family became rich from, you know what I mean? So every rich family that you see, started with one person. I’m like I am the curse breaker and I’m not gonna break generational curses by being just enough. It has to be whole money, it has to get to that point when everybody from me cannot be poor,” she said.
