Kannywood actress Maryam Booth has mourned filmmaker Aminu Bono.
Aminu died on Monday evening after collapsing and was rushed to a hospital.
Reacting to the shocking demise in a post via Instagram on Monday, a heartbroken Maryam shared Amino’s picture saying that her heart feels heavy and her legs can’t carry her.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhir rajiun my legs can’t carry me my heart feels heavy. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhir rajiun,” she wrote.
Maryam also made another post where she said a short prayer for the deceased in Hausa language, saying, “Innalillahi wa Ina ilayhir rajiun Innalillahi wa inna ilayhir rajiun inna lillahi wa inna ilayhir rajiun,” which translates, “To Allah, we belong and to Him, we shall return. To Allah, we shall return.”
Another Kannywood star Yakubu Mohammed also mourned Aminu on Instagram.
He shared photos of the deceased via Instagram with the caption: “Allah ya gafarta maka Mal Aminu. This is heartbreaking RIJF.”

Aminu has produced several movies like Manyan Mata, Dan Gwamna, Nasamo Me Kahina, Alaqa and Daukaka.
He is to be buried on Tuesday, November 21 according to Muslim rites.
