Actress Juliana Olayode has said she is proud of her mother despite the latter not being able to speak proper English.
Juliana made this known in a recent video shared on Instagram after a troll spoke ill of the actress’ mum.
The Jenifa’s Dairy star said the Instagram user mocked her mother for not being able to express herself in English after she was asked to give a review of Funke Akindele’s A Tribe Called Judah.
The troll said Juliana acts like she comes from a rich family despite her mother’s inability to speak English but Juilaina debunked the statement saying that she came from nothing.
The 28-year-old said: “It took everything in me not to respond, I can take anything else but don’t talk about my mum, don’t talk about my dad, don’t talk about my family. If you wanna drag me, drag me, if you wanna insult, insult me, if you wanna say anything to me, say it to me Juliana and not my mum, I was pissed off.”
Juliana also encouraged her followers to love their parents and not be ashamed of them.
“My mum can’t speak English but I LOVE her to LIFE!!! And I am VERY PROUD of her. No matter what, love your parents, be proud of them and celebrate them always,” she added.
