Former presidential candidate Oby Ezekwesili says “God has made it easier” to look at her late mother’s pictures with smiles.
Her mother Cecilia Ujubuonu died in June after a battle with cancer.
In a tweet on Friday, Mrs Ezekwesili paid tributes to her mother whom she referred to as a “gift”.
“2020! What a year. In a few days, we’ll end the year I cried ‘Fare-Thee -Well to my unforgettable Nnem who gloriously returned to her Maker and First Love,” she wrote.
“God has made it easier to look at her pictures and smile in gratitude for the Gift that was my Mom, my Princess.”
Madam Ujubuonu had only clocked 78 in April.
She breathed her last in the arms and home of Ezekwesili in Abuja.
