Former member of the defunct music trio Plantashun Boiz Ahmedu Obiabo popularly known as Blackface has lashed out at critics who claim he has no academic output.
The Benue-born singer shared a photo of his music books in an Instagram post on Monday displaying his body of work.
“My music books older than some of y’all, especially for those that said I don’t have a body of work,” he wrote.
After Plantashun Boiz disbanded in 2004, he released the hip hop album Ghetto Child in May 2004 collaborating with a number of artists.
Blackface recently settled his feud with former band member 2Baba. Their feud began after Blackface accused 2Baba of allegedly recording the hit song ‘African Queen’ without giving him due credit.
The two singers were urged to bury the hatchet at a tribute organized in memory of Sound Sultan.
