Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke, has stated that his vocation is relevant as he is ”serving humanity.”
The 36-year-old stated this in a post he shared on Instagram on Thursday.
”…I laugh inside when people say “that actor guy” or “this acting thing” in an attempt at downplaying or understating the fact. I may not be a Front-line Health Worker, but my vocation is as relevant, (for your sanity’s sake) even from the back end…”
In a March 25 Instagram post, the Tinsel star suggested that actors should be more careful about doing passionate scenes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
”Dear actor, wassap with that kissing scene in your script? Or better yet…For how much? Times have come when we all owe ourselves, the responsibility of presenting medical records. Acting is a ‘contact’ sport. What with spittle running free when in the heat of passionate dialogue…”
